Nathan Battle, CFA

Consultant

Nathan has over 20 years of investment and asset management experience in the infrastructure, power, and real estate sectors.  Prior to joining Acadia, Nathan was a Managing Director at Guggenheim Partners, where he was responsible for the firm's infrastructure investments and partner relationships. He played an active role in the construction of the Middletown and Kings Mountain Energy Centers - each a $500 million, 475 MW CCGT power plant - sitting on various committees and boards for both projects. After overseeing a successful arbitration process that allowed these projects to be repositioned as Ohio Power Partners and Carolina Power Partners, he led efforts on refinancing, hedging and customer outreach. Nathan also managed Guggenheim's relationship with Manulife and ArcLight, overseeing $600+ million in activity across a series of funds and co-investments while serving as an advisory board member.

Prior to his infra-focused roles, Nathan held positions within GRE - Guggenheim's private equity real estate business - where he was involved in over $800 million in property acquisitions. He also helped launch GRE's public securities platform and worked on the absolute return and long-only strategies while structuring several UIT portfolios for Guggenheim's retail distribution effort. He began his career at BB&T and First Horizon Corporate Financial Services with a focus on corporate lending.

Nathan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his CFA designation in 2007.
