Chief Administrative Officer
Janet Turner has over 20 years of finance, banking, and organizational experience, with over five years in energy and clean energy infrastructure. At Acadia, Janet leads the business operations teams, focusing on organization, operations, administration, and human resources. Prior to joining Acadia in 2023, Janet worked as a consultant for Tim Short and as a consulting assistant for an energy resource adequacy consulting firm. She also founded and managed a college consulting and test prep business after spending 6 years as the Executive Director of a K-12 education foundation.
Before taking a career break to raise her three daughters, Janet was the Vice President and Assistant Treasurer for Park Place Entertainment (now Caesars Entertainment), where she oversaw the debt and treasury functions. Her responsibilities included structuring and leading the term-out of $3bn in debt after Hilton Hotels split its gaming and hotels units, leading the $3bn syndicated financing of the acquisition of Caesars Entertainment, and executing what was then the largest private placement in Uruguay. Janet started her career as a financial advisor for large corporate clients at Bank of America, serving as a Vice President in corporate banking in Los Angeles.
Janet earned her bachelor's degree in finance from the University of South Alabama (cum laude) and her MBA with a concentration in finance from The University of Texas at Austin. She also holds a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification.
