Mike has over 20 years of principal investing and investment banking experience, mainly focusing on the North American energy sector. His experience covers a variety of subsectors, including power generation across multiple fuel types; regulated utilities; midstream oil & gas; and transportation and logistics. Prior to joining Acadia in 2023, he was a senior member of the U.S. investment team at AMP Capital where he led AMP’s North American energy effort, responsible for deal origination, due diligence, transaction execution, and asset management. While at AMP Capital, Mike served on the boards of Duquesne Light, Millennium Parking Garages, and Invenergy AMPCI Thermal Power, a joint venture with Chicago-based IPP Invenergy. Mike also had a similar role at Hastings Funds Management where he helped establish Hastings’ New York office. While at Hastings, Mike served on the board of Southwest Generation, a Denver-based IPP portfolio company. Mike’s banking experience includes project and corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions advisory at RBC Capital Markets, Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.

Mike earned his bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and his MBA in Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
